Designed on the wild, narrow trails of the Dolomites, the Pedroc 16 has been thoroughly tested in this demanding terrain to provide maximum comfort in demanding terrain. The lightness, breathability and high wearing comfort of our Pedroc 16 is achieved through the Dry Back Contact system: the generous ventilation channels reduce the contact surfaces between the backpack and the back and ensure better air circulation and ventilation thanks to their construction. The shoulder straps are integrated directly into the back system for a body-hugging fit that does not slip even during movement-intensive speed hiking activities. In addition, the ergonomically shaped and split shoulder straps improve breathability and freedom of movement, and the sophisticated cut-outs also save weight. Ripstop Duralite The Pedroc 16 is made from our specially developed 70 denier Duralite material. The double ripstop nylon construction is characterised by its high abrasion and tear resistance despite its very low weight. The backpack is equipped with hydration system preparation, quick-access side pockets with zip and a front access to the main compartment. The one-hand compression system also allows you to adjust the backpack quickly on tour: simply pull the top cord to compress the backpack – without having to put it down. The Pedroc 16 is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection and is characterised by a low ecological footprint thanks to PFC-free, water-repellent DWR treatment.
