Before this book, Victoria Ichizli-Bartels compiled and published three resources that mapped S1000D Business Rules Decision Points (BRDP) into meaningful, contextual groupings.The S1000D BRDP Reference Book for Issues 1.9 through 6 completes this work by offering this mapping not only for S1000D Issues 4.1, 4.2, and 5.0, as before, but also for the latest to date S1000D Issue 6 and showing how the BRDP titles, definitions, and contexts in these latest four Issues of the specification relate to the information contained in the earlier S1000D Issues 1.9 through 4.0.1.Such an extensive mapping for eleven S1000D Issues provided by Ichizli-Bartels will allow the users of the earlier Issues of the specification to implement them with the same ease and efficiency available to the implementors of the later S1000D Issues due to the more standardized, uniquely identified, and cleaned-up information on business rules and business rule decision points.Since the BRDP groupings in the S1000D BRDP Reference Book for Issues 1.9 through 6 correspond to the BRDP groups concept and definitions given in S1000D Issue 6, this resource will also remain relevant for future Issues of the specification following the S1000D Issue 6.
